Project Description
The project was commissioned by the Fondazione Vincenzo Agnesi with the aim of creating a new visual identity for the new "Museo Nazionale delle paste alimentari." The visual identity had to convey a sense of austerity and precision suitable for a museum, all in a new modern look. Alongside, incorporating a vibrant color palette that referenced both the original colors of the V. Agnesi Foundation and the food theme. The elements within the logo are designed to evoke the main subject—pasta—and the colors of the Italian flag.

Design Approach
The goal was to design a logo that felt simple yet meaningful—something that instantly conveyed the theme of pasta while still looking refined and fitting for a museum. The flowing spaghetti-like lines bring a sense of movement and organic charm, while their structured arrangement keeps the design polished and intentional. This balance between playfulness and precision reflects both the artistry of pasta-making and the curated experience of a museum. The aim of the design is to visually represent the museum’s purpose, highlighting pasta as both a culinary craft and a significant part of Italy’s cultural heritage.

As part of the design research for the Museo Nazionale delle Paste Alimentari, the logo was developed not only as a visual identity but also as a tangible element to be incorporated into physical objects. This exploration led to the creation of a metal plate and an award trophy, reinforcing the museum’s branding across different mediums.
